Writing correction
Correct English in the active field after a safety check.
How it works: Enable correction in the popup, then use suggestion cards or direct edit in supported fields.
Important limit: English only. Not a rewrite engine for every language.
Try this: Try a supported text field after confirming Flowlary is not paused.
Translation
Translate selected text with a shortcut or popup action.
How it works: Invoke translation on the active field. Flowlary writes the result back when the field is still valid.
Important limit: Manual by default. Does not run automatically.

Live translation
Optional translation while you type.
How it works: Enable live translation in the popup. Updates can appear after a short pause.
Important limit: Off by default. Turn it off if it feels too aggressive.
Try this: Toggle live translation from the popup.
Keyboard layout
Fix text typed on the wrong keyboard layout.
How it works: Local remapping is tried first. A classifier may help when local mapping cannot decide.
Important limit: Not ordinary spell check.
Try this: Use the fix-layout shortcut or Speed Box for a one-off conversion.
Speed Box
Convert a snippet between layouts in an overlay.
How it works: Open Speed Box, paste or type text, pick layouts, then copy the result.
Important limit: Manual overlay. Separate from in-field layout repair.
Try this: Open Speed Box with the shortcut below.
Account
The website and extension share one Flowlary account for plan and usage.
- Sign in on the website or extension with the same email and password.
- Plan and Flowlary AI usage appear on the account page.
- Billing will appear on the account page when paid plans are enabled.
Flowlary AI
Flowlary AI powers correction, translation, live translation, and layout classification when local mapping is not enough.
Trial
New accounts receive a 30-day Trial with higher daily AI writing checks (currently 1,000 per day). No payment card is required to start Trial.
- Trial starts when you create an account according to server rules.
- When Trial ends, your account returns to Free unless you subscribe to Pro.
- Trial features match Pro learning capabilities during the trial window.
Pro
Pro adds higher daily AI capacity and deeper learning tools. Pricing is $4.99/month or $39/year when checkout is enabled.
- Pro activates only after server-side billing verification.
- Manage subscription through the billing portal when linked.
- Local tools continue even when AI checks are exhausted.
Student program
Verify an academic email address to receive a Student benefit. Verification confirms email control, not active enrollment or identity documents.
- Academic domains such as .edu and .ac.uk are accepted when configured.
- The benefit lasts 12 months under current program rules.
- Each academic email reference can link to one account.
Billing
Checkout and subscriptions are handled by Paddle when billing is enabled. Flowlary stores subscription identifiers, not card numbers.
- Free: $0 with 500 AI writing checks per day.
- Trial: 1,000 checks per day for 30 days.
- Pro: 1,000 checks per day when subscribed.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period when scheduled.
Privacy
Sensitive fields are skipped before correction or translation. Flowlary AI features may send writing text when you invoke them. Local activity stays on your device.
Troubleshooting
Nothing happens in a field
Cause: Flowlary may be paused, or the field may be excluded or blocked.
What to check: Confirm Flowlary is active. Some fields are blocked on purpose (passwords, payment, code editors).
What to do next: Try a standard textarea on another page, or remove the site from exclusions.
Correction does not work
Cause: Writing correction needs Flowlary AI to be available and consented.
What to check: Confirm you have remaining usage and have enabled Flowlary AI in settings.
What to do next: Retry after checking your account usage or Flowlary AI consent in the popup.
Translation does not work
Cause: Translation needs managed AI and a valid active field.
What to check: Confirm the field is still focused and Flowlary is not paused.
What to do next: Use the translate shortcut again after the safety check passes.
Live translation behaves unexpectedly
Cause: Live translation is optional and can update after a pause.
What to check: Confirm live translation is intentionally enabled.
What to do next: Turn it off in the popup if it feels too aggressive.
Keyboard layout looks wrong
Cause: The intended source or target layout may not match what was typed.
What to check: Confirm the layouts you need are enabled in settings.
What to do next: Use the fix-layout shortcut or Speed Box for a one-off conversion.
Speed Box does not produce the expected result
Cause: Source and target layouts may not match the snippet you pasted.
What to check: Confirm both layouts in the Speed Box panel.
What to do next: Try a shorter snippet and verify the layout pair.
Account cannot connect
Cause: Sign-in may fail when Flowlary is temporarily unavailable.
What to check: Confirm your email, password, and network connection.
What to do next: Retry from the account page. Sign out and sign in again if needed.
AI daily limit reached
Cause: Your daily Flowlary AI credit allowance may be used up, or Flowlary AI may be temporarily offline.
What to check: Confirm your plan and remaining AI writing checks on the account page or in the extension popup.
What to do next: Wait for the daily reset at 00:00 UTC, upgrade to Pro for higher limits, or keep using Keyboard Layout Repair and Speed Box.
