Effective date:
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Flowlary website (flowlary.com) and the Flowlary Chrome extension. By using Flowlary, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms describe the implemented product. They must be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before you treat them as a final contract.
1. Agreement
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the website or extension.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract where you live. Minimum age requirements have not been specified in this repository and should be confirmed by the operator.
3. The product
Flowlary is a writing companion for Chrome that can correct English writing, translate text, repair keyboard-layout mismatches, and help you learn from recurring writing patterns. Feature availability depends on your plan, extension version, and service availability.
4. Accounts
- You may register with email and password on the website or extension.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
- The same account can be used on the website and extension.
- Email verification may be required before checkout or certain features.
5. Free plan
The Free plan includes local tools (such as keyboard layout repair and Speed Box) and a daily allowance of managed AI writing checks (currently 500 per day). Limits may change; the Pricing page reflects current values.
6. Trial
New accounts may receive a Trial with higher daily AI writing checks (currently 1,000 per day) for 30 days without requiring a payment card. When Trial ends, your account returns to Free unless you subscribe to Pro.
7. Pro subscription
Pro provides higher daily AI writing checks (currently 1,000 per day) and additional learning capabilities. Pro is billed at $4.99/month or $39/year when checkout is enabled. Pro access is granted only after server-side billing verification — completing checkout alone does not instantly grant Pro if verification is pending.
8. Student program
Eligible users may receive a Student benefit by verifying an academic email address. Verification confirms control of that email, not active enrollment or identity. The benefit lasts 12 months under current program rules and may be revoked if misused.
9. Billing
- Payments are processed by Paddle when checkout is enabled.
- Flowlary does not store your payment card number.
- Subscription management and invoices are handled through Paddle’s customer portal when linked.
- Prices shown on the website are authoritative; client-side amounts are validated server-side.
10. Cancellation
You may cancel Pro through the billing portal when available. If cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing period, Pro remains until that period ends.
11. Refunds
Refund rights depend on Paddle’s policies, applicable consumer law, and operator policy. A dedicated refund policy has not been published in this repository.
12. Usage limits
AI writing checks, rate limits, and capability gates apply by plan. When daily checks are exhausted, managed AI features pause until the daily reset (00:00 UTC). Local tools continue.
13. AI-generated output
Corrections, translations, and AI narrations are machine-generated and may be wrong, incomplete, or inappropriate. Flowlary is not professional legal, medical, or certified translation advice. You are responsible for text you send and publish.
14. Your content
You retain rights in writing you create. You grant Flowlary only the limited processing needed to provide features you invoke.
15. Prohibited use
- Do not use Flowlary to process secrets, payment data, or information you are not allowed to share with a writing tool.
- Do not attempt to overload, probe, or disrupt api.flowlary.com.
- Do not misuse the Student program with non-academic emails or shared academic identities.
- Do not reverse-engineer or interfere with the service except as permitted by law.
16. Intellectual property
Flowlary’s website, extension, branding, and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party marks (such as Chrome and Paddle) belong to their owners.
17. Third-party services
Flowlary relies on third-party providers for AI, translation, email, payments, and hosting. Your use of those features may be subject to additional provider terms.
18. Service availability
The website, API, and managed AI may be unavailable, slow, or change without notice. Beta or experimental features may behave differently from documented behavior.
19. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Flowlary is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including uninterrupted service or error-free AI output. Mandatory consumer rights in your country are not excluded where they cannot be waived.
20. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Flowlary is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the product. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
21. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, abuse, non-payment, or operational reasons. You may stop using Flowlary at any time by uninstalling the extension and ceasing use of the website.
22. Governing law
Governing law and venue are not specified in this version because the operating legal entity has not been confirmed in this repository.
23. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance, except where local law requires additional notice or consent.
24. Contact
Use the Contact page for support routing. Privacy questions are covered in the Privacy Policy.
